street fair banner blankThe 6th Annual Birmingham International Street Fair will take place on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama at Avondale Brewery and 2nd Avenue (Please note the change of venue due to I59 construction).  This is the sixth year the BMCA organizes this fantastic cultural event, and this year, the New Americans Chamber of Commerce Alabama (NACCal) joins its efforts.  This is a natural alliance created to empower our international communities, now united to showcase their cultural diversity to the entirety of Alabama’s populations.

Costs: (Spaces are 12×12)

Individuals/Non-profits — $50.00 for 12X12 space

Food Vendors — $100.00 for 12×12 space

Cultural Businesses – $100 for 12X12 space

Corporate Businesses – Minimum $250 Sponsorship required to participate

Extra 12X12 space – $25.00

Power – $25.00 (limited to 110 capacity and only 1-2 plugins.  Vendors with Microwaves or other higher voltage items must bring their own generator with no more than 62 decibel sound)

Tents – $35.00

Tables – $10.00

The goals of the event are to be a cultural awareness opportunity with education and hands on exposure.  It will also bring diversity awareness with various communities interacting, celebrating and sharing their traditions through art, food and music.

Priority for approval of applications will be given to vendors/artists who highlight or enhance an international and/or multicultural experience.
